This de-skunking recipe is courtesy of the Kansas Sate Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. Bathe your pet with a mixture of 1 quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide (from the drug store), plus ¼ cup baking soda, plus 1 teaspoon liquid soap. Wait 15 minutes, then rinse off. It works like magic on skunk-afflicted pets. Mix fresh each time- do not store mixture– gas pressure may explode the storage container.
